About This Service
When you're in a collision, wheel damage often comes along with body damage curbed rims, cracked alloys, bent wheels from impact. Most body shops send you elsewhere for wheel repair, adding weeks to your timeline. Tom Wood Collision Center handles wheel repair in-house as part of your complete collision repair, so your car leaves our shop ready to drive with your body work AND your wheels fixed to factory spec.
What We Do
Our wheel repair capabilities include: alloy wheel refinishing (curb rash, scratches, scuffs), structural wheel repair for bent or damaged wheels, wheel refinishing and color matching to factory spec, cracked alloy repair (when structurally safe), and wheel replacement sourced from our OEM parts network when repair isn't appropriate. All wheel work is done to OEM-spec to maintain your vehicle's safety, warranty, and resale value.
WHY TOM WOOD COLLISION
Wheel-only specialists like Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists do great work for standalone wheel repair. But if you're dealing with collision damage AND wheel damage, bouncing between a body shop and a wheel shop wastes weeks. We're your one-stop for complete collision repair including wheels, done to manufacturer spec with our Lifetime Limited Warranty. For standalone wheel damage (no collision involved), you might get a faster turnaround with a wheel specialist we'll tell you honestly if that's the better option for you.
Our Process
Step 1: Free wheel damage assessment - we determine if your wheel can be repaired or needs replacement.
Step 2: If repaired, wheel is removed, prepped, and refinished to factory specs.
Step 3: If replaced, OEM wheel is sourced from our parts network (often faster than standalone wheel shops).
Step 4: Wheel reinstalled, torqued to spec, balanced. Step 5: Final road test to verify no vibration or handling issues.
